It is time for a fresh new look for Made On The Canal. This minimal design should be reflective of the style applied to my illustrations and other work.
MOTC has seen some major changes over the past three years. Fortunately I have been in a position where I can trial certain products and techniques at craft markets and gift shops.
After listening to my customers, and friends at local museums and galleries, I have decided to focus on creating a greater range of greeting cards and prints. People living and visiting Birmingham enjoy the rich heritage and varied styles of architecture the city has to offer. And I want to be there, to provide affordable mementos and gifts you can share with friends and family.

The 3D technique applied to the larger pieces of work has developed enormously, and the level of detail is something I wouldn’t have considered reaching 3 years ago.
Creating personal pieces, such as homes and wedding anniversary gifts gives me immense joy.
I love creating bespoke pieces and it’s a great feeling to hand over a commission to someone who it means so much.
This is another area of work where Made On The Canal will focus on developing. With every commission I push myself to reach a higher level of 3D detail and accuracy.

A big thank you to all who have supported me over the years! Things are going well, ever changing and leading to new opportunities… exciting times!

I think the website is fully up and running. But if you do come across any error messages, please let me know. There is bound to be something I’ve missed.
